Assume that Ω₁ and Ω₂ are two smooth bounded pseudoconvex domains in C² that intersect (real) transversely, and that Ω₁ ∩ Ω₂ is a domain (i.e. is connected). If the ∂-Neumann operators on Ω₁ and on Ω₂ are compact, then so is the ∂-Neumann operator on Ω₁ ∩ Ω₂. The corresponding result holds for the ∂-Neumann operators on (0,n-1)-forms on domains in Cⁿ.
