CP-violating Parameter εB in Bd⁰-B⁰d Mixing

We make an analysis of the phase-convention dependence of the CP-violating parameter εB and give some comments on the reported CLEO and OPAL constraints on ReεB. It is emphasized that εB has little advantage for the study of CP violation in the B⁰d-B⁰d system.
