A density result for homogeneous Sobolev spaces on planar domains

We show that in a bounded simply connected planar domain Ω the smooth Sobolev functions Wᵏ,∞(Ω)∩ C∞(Ω) are dense in the homogeneous Sobolev spaces Lᵏ,ᵖ(Ω).
