Superconductivity in the Kondo lattice: a mean-field approach

We calculate the superconducting critical temperature Tc and the Kondo temperature Tₖ of the Kondo lattice, decoupling the Kondo exchange interaction in the unrestricted Hartree-Fock (HF) Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) approximation. We obtain that both Tₖ and Tc have an exponential dependence in the Kondo coupling Jₖ. For optimum doping and realistic parameters, both temperatures fall in the experimentally observed range.
